About
The Mass Ave Project
Our mission is to provide help and support to the unmanageable living situations of those who are struggling, through love and compassion. With the ultimate goal of assisting in breaking away from homelessness and removing barriers to addiction/mental health treatment and housing.
Founder
Meet founding member of TMAP, Jimmy Bradley. Jimmy’s boundless integrity and altruism means he stops at nothing to extend a hand to everyone around him. Being a 15-year drug addict himself, he understands the importance of remembering where he comes from to ensure he stays right-sized, and never comes across as “better than. ” Jimmy is a pillar of the local recovery community and remains a bedrock resource to those in need.

Co Founder
Meet Co-founder Justin Downey. His picture doesn’t do him justice; his presence brings a palpable positivity to those around him that can’t be captured in a snap shot.
An ex-convict and recovering heroin addict himself, Justin knows all too well how, in what feels like the blink of an eye, someone can get to the point of living on the streets, tethered to a clinic, churning in and out of our antiquated system.
After getting clean, Justin began his path of healing, leading him to a lifestyle that includes his community contribution as a yoga and meditation instructor, as well as a local community activist.
